Born from a bold vision to unify Africa’s food industry, Africa Unite International Ltd was founded by Howard Nwadike, a Nigerian entrepreneur based in the United States.

During a visit to Kenya, Howard was struck by the passion and resilience of local farmers. Yet, he also saw a troubling pattern: despite Africa’s vast resources, most countries operated in isolation, missing out on the power of a truly connected food market.

Determined to change this, Howard teamed up with Kenyan national Michelle Anyango in 2022. Together, they traveled across Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia, engaging farmers, traders, and industry leaders. What they discovered was clear: Africa already had everything it needed. Abundant raw materials, skilled hands, and eager consumers. What was missing was the bridge to bring it all together.

That realization gave birth to Africa Unite International Ltd in 2025. More than just a company, it is a movement built to keep Africa’s wealth within Africa, empower local farmers, and unlock a unified food system capable of fueling the continent’s economic rise and strengthening its voice on the global stage.
